- Is recant the right word? Perhaps acknowledge would be more appropriate, but I'm not sure what you mean by this.
- Good point, this was a leftover from an earlier phrasing. Fixed now.

- Images appropriately licensed.
- and starting on 24 September placed the city under siege awkward
- Removed the 'starting'.
- Suggest adding |lastauthoramp=y to the cite book template for multi-author works to match the ampersand used in the cites.
