Those were more likely Funambulus squirrels. Ucucha (talk) 20:46, 17 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Have a look! I loaded a picture up. What is this? Funambulus squirrels or Eutamias ?

I edited and expanded this article as an assignment for my Honors 1035 Natural Disturbances and Society class at Louisiana State University. While most people think chipmunks are harmless or cute creatures, I wanted to show that all types of animals can become invasive species when introduced into new environments and areas. Therefore, I detailed the characteristics, history, and consequences regarding the Siberian chipmunk.

I tagged this page as Essay-like and having issues with tense, after a quick perusal. There are issues with the article switching between tenses, and the positive/negative impacts section specifically seems to be trying to drive a point home about a perceived negative impact, rather than being an objective article. Though Jparen3 added a lot of good information to the article, his/her comment seems to imply that he or she recently edited the article specifically to emphasize this negative impact as a school project. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.215.236.156 (talk) 07:12, 6 April 2014 (UTC)Reply
