I'm looking for the best picture or any informations about the KAF's U-6 (Beaver). It seem that the KAF had 3 aircrafts.
But in 1971, during the viet cong's sapper attack at the Pochentong Air Base,at least 1 Beaver was destroyed.In 1972
at leat 1 Beaver was refurbished with a new engine.

Even the both words are in the same meaning.
But I have never heard Siam Nakhon that refer to the former Thailand province that now in Cambodia. We called the city Siam Rat(Thai:เสียมราฐ)

I'm afraid there is a confusion on "khmer leu". If "kampuchea leu" (that's means upper cambodia) may refers to the thailand provinces where khmer people lives (Korat, surin, buriram....), the khmer-speaking inhabitants are called "khmer surin" by cambodian peoples.
"khmer leu" is one of the neologism Sihanouk have created in the 50's in order to refer to non-khmer peoples who lives in the cambodian montains (provinces of mondolkiri and ratanakiri). In these neologism, one can also find "khmer rouge" (left opposition to the SRN), "khmers bleus" (right opposition to the SRN), "khmer islam" (for cham peoples)... I don't know if "khmer krom" have been created by sihanouk.
Last, the translation of siem reap is correct, but the reason written is certainly not : one just have to consider that siem reap town was existing before the annexion of these provinces by the siam empire. This name refers to a battle in the last days of the angkorian era near the present day town (see : "Histoire du cambodge des premiers sciècles à notre ère" by A.
