Editing and clarification needed

I removed wrong information. While I would be happy to see that IPC has the longest runway in South America, this is not true. IPC is not in South America. GRU in Sao Paulo has a runway over 1,000 ft. longer. There may be other airports in South America with longer runways. Archtrain 17:26, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

There is no evidence to support the claim that the Soviet Union wanted the shuttle. Citation Improvement

I tagged the article for citecheck, as the sole citation given doesn't support the contents of the article. The only substantive information at the Amazon link take the form of customer reviews, which wouldn't be considered a reliable 3rd party source for Wikipedia. Also, the assertions at the bottom of the article relating to Easter Island's airport facilities and astronaut documentation have no source at all, and need citations. If anyone has a reliable source for the plot information in this article independent of the Amazon page, please add it along with inline citations. Also, if someone can add citations for the real-life information above, c separate citations should be added for that. Thanks! TrufflesTheLamb (talk) 19:49, 13 January 2009 (UTC)

Article improvement

I've made a start at improving the article by providing a basic infobox and linking to an online review. I have also located blogs with scans of the covers of different editions (1981, 1985) of the novel.

As for myself I plan to try and locate the original Analog serial. Probably the most useful of the book editions is going to be the later one, which seems to be nine pages longer than the first printing and probably contains the authors introduction. Graham1973 (talk) 23:11, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
