There is an omission from the information box. It does not mention that Shreyas Iyer will play for Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2022 and he will captain KR team. That's because we use the infobox only for teams that someone has actually played for. In the past players have been injured or withdrawn from a competition and, as a result, never played a match for the side in question. Hope that helps. Blue Square Thing (talk) 14:04, 16 February 2022 (UTC)

I understand you excluding KR from his record if he withdraws from competition. But not if he should be injured because then he is still a member of KR squad. The same if he loses form and is not selected to play. I think record should show he is in squad even if not in team. It doesn't matter. The inbox documentation says that we only include a team if a player make a senior appearance for the side. This isn't something that is flexible in this case I'm afraid. Would suggest changing:

Shreyas Iyer has now scored the most runs (204) for India in a three-match T20I bilateral series. Virat Kohli had scored 199 runs against Australia in 2016. check it. I agree with you but please have a look my above comments. For example:If virat scored the 102 hundreds in international cricket then he will became the first Cricketer to achieve that landmark.
