Too basketball-centric

This is a good start, but there need to be examples of show-cause penalties given to coaches in other NCAA sports besides men's basketball. The penalty can apply to any coach in any NCAA sport; it's only associated with basketball because of the egregious violations of Todd Bozeman and Dave Bliss. "Allowed"

That word needs to be modified by some other word like "technically". While the institution's NCAA membership is not immediately terminated by hiring a coach under a show-cause penalty, can anyone show any example, ever, of such a coach being hired and the school then showing the NCAA the "cause" why this was acceptable and the NCAA accepting such? Don't think so. It is one of those things like the College of Cardinals being able to elect a parish priest, or even a layman for that matter, pope.
