Plot line reused?

"Upon his return, Claire Kane is repulsed to discover that Stuart and his buddies left the girl in the water until the end of the weekend so they could continue fishing." This reminds me of a much more recent movie. Wasn't there a movie which featured this moral dilemma (as it's sole plot point)? 85.227.226.168 09:27, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

  • Yes, it was the Australian film Jindabyne. Almost the exact same, but set in New South Wales. The main characters are Stewart and Claire Kane, and the fishing trip/discovery occurs on a weekend. It is basically a remake of that plot line.

There is also a polish page of that movie on Wikipedia called "Na skroty"!!!! Please find it and make a proper reference in the left side of the page (specification of this page in other langauges). I am afraid I can not do it by myself, especially with my poor english. User of Wikipedia in Cracow, Poland

Plot summary improvements

The plot summary is filled with statements that are so vague it's rather pointless to include any so-called information here at all; some of the comments, in fact, such as referring to the car accident that ends up killing Casey as "whimsical," are simply bizarre. I'm therefore going to create an alternate version of the plot summary. If anyone has a problem with this, they're welcome to change it back, but please explain why you're doing so here on the discussion page, rather than a simple revert for ego's sake. -- Minaker

By the way, where can I find a complete plot outline? This one begins good enough, but soon devolves into little more than teasers. (If there's a spoiler warning, feel free to spoil the entire contents, not just parts of it). To take just two examples, are really all 10 (11?) plot lines covered? What are the details of the ending disaster? 85.227.226.168 09:23, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

I added a proper plot summary, as opposed to the promotional boilerplate that was there.Trumpetrep (talk) 13:08, 6 March 2013 (UTC)
