Lead

• I found the use of "Widely credited" somewhat contentious. Not because the source doesn't support a similar claim, but, because of it's worded within: "it was Rampling’s Shoom that effectively kicked off the acid-house craze in London". The quote doesn't regard others views and so perhaps the lead sentence should be reworded to say "some consider" or provide attribution to Michaelangelo Matos.

  Not so sure as the club name was not random or because it sounded nice; it was rooted in E/LSD culture, and I think its good to hint at how the original phonetic "coming up" word, became the more nuanced magic mushroom (shroom) reference. Ceoil (talk) 21:51, 1 April 2021 (UTC)
