"Completed" column?

What exactly is the purpose of this column? As I understand it, it indicates those series which were serialized from start to finish, without skipping a chapter... in which case DBZ should have a "no", since it started serialization at the beginning of the android saga (and to be quite honest, I don't really see the point to this column at all... it feels rather arbitrary to me). —Dinoguy1000 18:31, 12 December 2008 (UTC)

Yes, that is the purpose...series who ran in their entirety in the magazine, rather than stopping part way. It mimics what was done with Shojo Beat's article. New series coming in 2009

Letter Bee was officially announced in the December or January issue of SJ, I'll have to look it up at home. I think (think) SJ referred to it as Tegamibachi. —Dinoguy1000 18:44, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

I'm honestly not excited at all. I mean (if you can read Japanese) the English stuff is not that good, they edit it too much. Also they replace the Japanese FX, which takes all the life out of the drawing replacing it with a goofy typeface. That's true, Del Rey is amazing. I mean seriously, I'm a huge fan of Hiroyuki Asada, I haven't missed one chapter of any of his manga, I have all the Robot: Super Color Comic issues. Just to think of Viz altering the beautiful artwork of Tegami Bachi sounds absolutly terrible to me. Glad Dark Horse took the Banya: The Explosive Delivery Man manhwa, artwork is unbelievable and they stayed true to the artwork. That is a ridiculously long URL, even for ANN...

Kana title

It is fairly common on Wikipedia for media in foreign languages with different alphabets to offer spellings in the native alphabet. Shouldn't a native Kanji or -kana rendering be in the lead? This would seem both relevant to people trying to search for material and to people trying to translate the name or research the context of the name. Even a statement of whether the title is usually rendered on the cover in katakana or in hiragana is itself meaningful. Eebster the Great (talk) 05:49, 8 September 2016 (UTC)

You might be confusing this article for Weekly Shōnen Jump. This is about Viz's North American magazine, thus the name is only in English. Opencooper (talk) 07:09, 8 September 2016 (UTC)
