- She has been singing on the band's albums since her first appearance on 2008's Distortion, with her and Stephin Merritt alternating between singing lead vocals throughout the album.[1] Previously, she sang on several tracks on the Magnetic Fields' 1999 album 69 Love Songs.[2]
This feels like it doesn't make sense. Was her first appearance on Distortion or 69 Love Songs...? Is it more correct to say that she joined the band with Distortion? skagedaltalk 11:45, 3 June 2022 (UTC)

Isn't she doing the duet on Papa was a Rodeo from 1999's 69 love songs? Which would make her first appearance on an album previous to 2008? 2600:1014:B1AC:1324:EB74:8A09:4B66:E09F (talk) 16:16, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
