This page is pretty biased. Reads like a corporate bio without attribution(s).

I think this qualfies as "shameless self-promotion." —Preceding unsigned comment added by D18mike (talkcontribs) 19:06, 4 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I tried to find sources for some of the claims and where I ended up was that the only thing that can be verified is that the subject of the article was beaten up in a parking lot 40 years ago. The article is totally useless. 198.45.174.250 (talk) 17:47, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Knievel Attack edit

This article states, "Many Americans felt Knievel's actions were justified and Saltman was a fool to assume that he could write such provocative material about a man considered to be the greatest daredevil of the modern era without ramifications." Where does the author of this statement get his/her sources? I was a child at the time, but I can remember the public outrage over what he did. My parents vowed personally to never watch him perform again. His career took a major nosedive afterwards that he never recovered from. I did not hear one person at the time say that the attack was justified. This part should be removed if there is no outside source to corroborate this claim. By the time of the attack, his career was over anyway. His last real jump was in 1975. He was trying really hard in 1977 to transform himself into an actor even though he could not act. He did one bad movie that year and one TV show appearance which he got in support of the movie. The public reaction to the incident was mostly indifference. It was a footnote in the news and then forgotten. His career never recovered from Snake River and his body was shot in '75. The assault just speeded up a process that was happening anyway. 198.45.174.250 (talk) 18:13, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
