The subject of the article was a professor with a named chair at Duke, so he passes WP:PROF. PDCook (talk) 19:49, 14 January 2010 (UTC)

Now that the previously-deleted article's page history has been restored, I'm amazed this article was nominated and deleted in the first place. It clearly states that the person was a prof with a named chair. Interesting. PDCook (talk) 21:47, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
