Talk:Sheldon Adelson/Archives/2017

A couple of thoughts

I notice two things about this article. The first is that the "ideology" section is way overdone, with massive quotes from him, almost puffery - way too much for a biography. I am going to trim it by about half. Judicious paraphrasing can encompass everything it says in half the space.

The other thing is, I see nothing about the controversy surrounding his purchase of the Review-Journal and subsequent changes at that paper. That deserves a section comparable to the section on the Israeli press. I see no discussion about this at the talk page. Was material inserted and deleted, or was it just that nobody ever added it? --MelanieN (talk) 16:37, 11 October 2017 (UTC)

I have added information about the Review-Journal. I'll take a look at the ideology section in the next few days, unless someone beats me to it. --MelanieN (talk) 03:24, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
