I'm not sure who started this page, but the whole thing reads like a gossip rag, as if the only thing notable or interesting about Sheila Cockrel is her relation to other people. Councilwoman Cockrel had an entire interesting and meaningful life on and before council apart from her recent notariaty from butting heads with former councilwoman Conyers and before mayoring Ken Cockrel, Sr. Someone please do some research on her back-story for goodness sake. --Criticalthinker (talk) 05:01, 8 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I started the page but I didn't foresee it would go in this direction. Still, some of the blame goes to me. But this is Wikipedia; you don't have to settle for the current version. You can do something to improve the article. Even if you add just one little fact about her "interesting and meaningful life on and before council" that would be a huge step forward.
