Shauna Seliy is a notable new, highly touted young novelist published by a major New York publisher. Her mentor is the African-American writer John Edgar Wideman. I removed the speedy tags from this page as the article clearly asserts the notability of the subject. Moreover, the subject appears to satisfy WP:N as her novel has had several reviews e.g. [1]CIreland 18:26, 18 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
