Mysterious chunk of writing edit

"Canal Famille, TQS, France 3, Antenne ll, SFP), 52 x half-hours or 104 x 11 minutes , coproduction with Label 35, Antenne II, SFP and France 3 (France) and Canal Famille (Canada), 1990-92."

Removed from main article: This list of French TV Studios (that broadcast the show?) may become useful at some point, but not right now. Raises a question though... was the show French, or French Canadian? JaffaCakeLover (talk) 00:04, 18 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

National origin edit

Like JaffaCakeLover commented in the previous section, I wonder if Sharky and George is a French-Canadian or French production. Certainly, Cinegroupe is French-Canadian. I don't know about the other studio, Label 35. At the very least, we have to credit Canada in addition to France in the article (and the summary box on the right side. I'd do that but I don't know how).Nojamus (talk) 22:38, 1 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Episode! edit

I have just found an online vid of an actual episode! http://www.veoh.com/videos/v1472864Tt2BFbfY?rank=4&

A good find - First thing i've seen that isn't the intro or title card in over a decade!

Also found this: A title sequence for a non-english speaking country [is the audio French? Are the titles Arabic?], which is extended by using series footage! http://video.aol.com/video-detail/sharky-wa-george/2028295098/?icid=VIDURVMUS04

Sporadic Episode list edit

Amazon UK has the 4 VHS Cassettes listed [as used], and gives the episode titles. Each tape listed as 60 minutes in duration.

It doesn't say what order the tapes are in though, and of course only names 16 out of 78 stories!

(I also wonder if Plankton is meant to be spelt like that)

Sharky And George - Doctor Jake Eel And Mr. Crab
'Doctor Jake Eel And Mr. Crab', 'Escape From Albatross', 'Quick As A Winkle' and 'Prisoner In A Kelp Mine.'

Sharky And George - Oyster Stew
'Oyster Stew', 'The Black Tide', 'Here's Looking At You Cod' and 'Stormy Weather.'

Sharky And George - The Great Plancton Rush
'The Great Plancton Rush', 'Sarah Prawn On The High C's', 'Murky Waters' and 'The Rocking Tuna Rolls.'

Sharky And George - Shame Under The Big Top
'Shame Under The Big Top', 'Joker Without A Cause', 'Aquatariat By A Nose' and 'The Legacy Of The Coelancath.'
