"In the not-too-distant future"
Apropros of nothing, the photograph of Lucid exercising in Mir looks like an odd, parallel-universe version of Mystery Science Theatre 3000? It's uncanny; the spacesuits look like little robots. That is all, carry on. -Ashley Pomeroy (talk) 14:47, 2 November 2008 (UTC)

I have just watched Mission to Mir for the first time today, July 7th 2005, my first introduction to Dr Shannon( I got a voucher for Mothers Day and bought Mission to Mir and Blue Planet IMAX DVD's). Well just amazing ! I am an amateur astronomer and space enthusiast and would like to put together an article on Dr Shannon. I live in Bray Co Wicklow in Ireland and I write articles for amateur publications in Ireland. http://www.irishastrosoc.org/ I am also an outreach volenteer for the Cassini Saturn Mission/JPL/NASA ,the only one in Ireland and do my best to bring this wonderful mission to Saturn and the Saturnian system to school children and just about anyone who will listen. I am amazed with what I saw in this DVD, and have great admiration for what DR Shannon achieved in Mir, what is Dr Shannon doing now? and would she be interested in an interview for a very small publication in Ireland, with a very interested audience? http://soc.jpl.nasa.gov/experience/gallery-photo.cfm?id=291 this is me talking Cassini recently.
Many Thanks
