Accuracy

Pretty sure a lot of these chart positions are just plain wrong. Also, not seeing much sourcing for the sales figures, though those seem more reasonable. GassyGuy 10:43, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Actually the chart information for all singles and albums in America is correct i double checked all of them. Except for when someone posts that No went to number 99. Don't know about the other countries though. And the sales are so off changing them back... again.

The chart positions still need a link to wherever you found them. ShadowHalo 05:06, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Format

Would it be appropriate to format the page with {{Infobox Discography}} and {{Infobox Singles discography}}? ShadowHalo 05:06, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

Her first two studio albums?

Shouldn't Magia and Peligro be represented here? Even if there isn't any data on them?

Aqualize 10:22, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

MAGIA (1991) and PELIGRO (1993) were Shakira's first two studio albums even if she does not like them now. Both were released in Colombia under a major label (Sony Columbia) and produced official singles and music videos that can be found on You Tube ("Magia", "Sueños", "Esta Noche Voy Contigo" and "Tú Serás La Historia De Mi Vida"). The song "Brujería" was also promoted and had TV performances. I think it's absurd to mark them as "promotional" albums. Even if they are not available anymore, "Magia" was the first studio album and "Peligro" was the second, and therefore they belong to the official discography. "Pies Descalzos" should me marked as the third and breaktrhough studio album by the Shakira. Being a long time Shakira fan, I remember some promotional interviews she did back in 1996 for "Pies Descalzos" where she clearly established it was her THIRD ALBUM.

Live albums?

Why have the live albums been removed? Aren't those a part of the discography?

83.92.160.35 18:34, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

We can't put "Live in Miami" as a part of Shakira's discography because it isn't publiqued at the moment. In adition, I have heard that the next live album won't have only a concert, it will be a resume of the best moments in her Oral Fixation World Tour. There will have two kinds of dvd models: -The first, is a dvd -The second, is a hd (The last video format). So it does that Shakira is one of the first musicians that does a concert in this video format. On the other hand, the dvd contains documentals, the discography, some videos... etc. However, we don't know what things the dvd contains. In her official web site, the fans can make her opinions about what they want to watch in her new dvd. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.98.243.212 (talk) 09:27, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Albums

There still are some live albums in the studio albums section, and some compilations. Throughout the tables there are compilation albums and other non-updated mistakes, could someone please fix this? • S • C • A • R • C • E • 21:05, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Asterisks

Why are there asterisks (stars) next to four of the English-language singles' titles? This should be explained in a postscript to that section, or the asterisks should be removed. Abrazame (talk) 11:30, 14 October 2009 (UTC)

Singles table

Singles must be sorted by date, and should not be separated by the English or Spanish language. So this must change. --Dan6hell66 (talk) 21:38, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Canadian Chart

No references for canadian chart and wrong chart positions. only hip's don't lie and she wolf charted on canadian hot 100 and hips dont lie ,whenever, underneath charted on canadian single chart. So this must change. [1] Ashishvats23 (talk), 15 November 2009 (UTC)

Singles certifications

And according to Mediatraffic.de, their 2005 year-end chart (http://www.mediatraffic.de/albums-2005.htm) stated Fijacion Oral Vol.1 had sold 2.3 million by the end of that year, so that should put this album at 4 million at the most to date. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.24.124.166 (talk) 03:36, 17 January 2010 (UTC)

Chart positions

I think like all the good discographies, this article also need correct and same countries positions. Like in studio album the countries are Us, Us latin, aus, italy, france, germany, net, Spain, switzerland and uk. so only these countries must be in all the other album and single chart position. Thank you. Ashishvats23 (talk) , 30 October 2010 (UTC)

She Wolf & Sal el sol sales

She wolf has not sold 8m and Sal el sol has no sold 10m...

Sales

Shakira has not sold 70 million albums. Sources are wrong, they only took this info somewhere without checking whether was true or wrong. 70 million records can be true. — 78.127.199.70 (talk) 12:32, 1 April 2012 (UTC)

You are correct. Thanks.   Done Chrishonduras (talk) 22:21, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
