Rumi is one of the major character of Jahanara Imam's Ekatturer Dinguli. The article does not say much about the book yet, but it is one of the most books regarding Bangladesh Liberation War. It is one of the best seller in the history of Bangladesh. Anisul Hoque nobel Maa was written based on this book. So as a main character of the book, Rumi deserves an article. Besides he is an ambassador of the guerrillas who risked their lives during their operation at the army packed city of Dhaka in 1971. He himself was part of an active group of Crack Platoon who ran numerous well known attacks on Pakistan Army. I also read the Wikipedia:Notablity (people) article and saw it meets the criteria. So why it should be speedy deleted. --Tarif from Bangladesh 18:12, 19 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
