This is another reliable source talking over the cancellation of the game. Sales by 1up, http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3111040 Sincerely Subzerosmokerain (talk) 02:51, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
- 1up.com have the same sales information as GameSpot. I came across the first 1up article earlier, but it seems to lack a proper date: the article would've been published between September 2003 and February 2004. I guess they must've been struck down by a belated millenium bug at the time. It refers to the Agetec forums, but the oldest entries there are from 2005 and none seem to be by Johnson himself on Shadow Tower Abyss. It seems likely that they switched forums. Another website suggests that Johnson's original post was on the SCEA forum, rather than on Agetec's own. I can't find the original press release either way. Famitsu gave the game a score of 30 out of 40 and Silver Award ([1]). The reviewers were pretty agreed having given it 8, 8, 7, and 7 according to this source ([2], although the total is incorrectly listed at 32 instead of 40). ~ Hibana (talk) 01:02, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks! I'm having some trouble finding the actual Famitsu review. Mephistophelian † 20:08, 23 March 2010 (UTC)
- Source on fan translation, and partially transcribed Famitsu review in Japanese. Also, retro review by Destructoid, its announcement. --ProtoDrake (talk) 18:33, 14 March 2016 (UTC)
