Talk:Sex determination in Silene

Initial comments edit

Your information is very precise and neutral, which is good to have in a wikipedia article. However, I noticed that you did not mention any examples related to sex determinism in Silene. Maybe you could include another plant species where a single chromosome also plays a huge part in its sex determinism, or look into some protists (although they may get really complicated). But, overall, this was a good first draft. Chris6734 (talk) 15:48, 24 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Other than XY and XX in humans edit

The article seems be unaware that in human beings, it's possible to have a situation other than XX (female) or XY (male) - see, for example, XYY syndrome. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 23:56, 23 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
