Seven CommunitiesSette Comuni – Restore the page to the title it has had for the last eight years, the name by which the region is almost invariably known in reliable English-language sources. Specifically, searches yield:

"Seven Communities" Asiago plateau
  • JSTOR: 1 result; the article is entitled "The Sette Comuni: A Teutonic Survival on Italian Soil"
  • Scholar: 5 results, of which one is immediately verifiable
  • GBooks: 26 hits, of which 13 are verifiable; of these 7 give "Seven communities" as a parenthetic translation of Sette Comuni.
"Sette Comuni" Asiago plateau
  • JSTOR: 9 results (I've verified only four or five of them)
  • Scholar: 134 results, of which dozens (at least) are immediately verifiable
  • GBooks: over 400 hits, verifiable results at least as far as the tenth page (of 44).

Seven Communities should probably be a dab page, give that it commonly (usually?) refers to the Siebengemeinden. Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 10:56, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Support per nom. No need whatsoever for a move. We use the common name used in reliable English-language sources. We do not translate to English just for the sake of it. -- Necrothesp (talk) 12:53, 15 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
