Wikipedia:External links may be of help, perhaps specifically Wikipedia:External links#Links to be considered and Wikipedia:External links#Links to be avoided. Usually, I would think perhaps no more than four of five links should suffice. Excessive links would overwhelm the article as shown here. Also, I suggest using ~~~~ to sign your messages.
