Pro-Session replay POV edit

An anon put this in the article (subsequently deleted):

This article is extremely biased It fails to recognize the nefarious side of embedding Session Replay scripts in Web pages and forms. Session Replay scripts allow servers to capture passwords and all other end-user input to web forms such as personal information and credit card access information, without the users knowledge that it is being done. These replay sessions can be used by unscrupulous web hosts to collect and profile end-user behavior and to resell personal information without the users knowledge.

As written, that belongs here (on the Talk page) not in the article, but I think it is basically accurate. See https://freedom-to-tinker.com/2017/11/15/no-boundaries-exfiltration-of-personal-data-by-session-replay-scripts/ In case a secondary source is preferred, see here: https://www.wired.com/story/the-dark-side-of-replay-sessions-that-record-your-every-move-online/

Direct link to vendors? edit

The reference to the comparative analysis (https://jonas.arnklint.com/comparing-best-user-session-recording-tool) was replaced by a direct link to a vendor (https://sessioncam.com/struggle-detection/). Goji7 (talk) 12:50, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
