Uncertain accuracy edit

The external link is a math professor's website, not a reliable source. I've had trouble finding any sources for a son. Her stela was discovered in a grave in Den's funerary complex, which doesn't make her his wife.Dougweller (talk) 20:01, 5 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

But she was his senior wife, and mother of his son Anedjib.--Mychele Trempetich (talk) 18:05, 20 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

the stela of Seshemetka (the only source for her) was indeed found next to the tomb of king Djer (Petrie, Royal tombs of Abydos II, pl. XXVII, no. 96). Therefore several books (Grajetzki, Queens; Roth, Königsmütter) are listing her as wife of king Djer and not of king Den. There is no indication that she was the mother of a king. best wishes -- Udimu (talk) 07:32, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Yes, but is interesting that all Den's wives have names on "S". --Mychele Trempetich (talk) 17:03, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

not sure whether this is an argument for placing Seshemetka under Den, and finally, there is this woman Qaineit, not a name with S. bw -- Udimu (talk) 18:06, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

You are true, once again. But that's interesting. Qaineit was some foreign princess who married Den because policy or maybe Den capture her.--Mychele Trempetich (talk) 18:29, 22 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
