On one hand, I'm very glad that we have cited many sources and done our research before adding the salmonella information to the page. However... there is no way we need this many sources. Even three refs from highly reputable sources seems to be plenty to confirm the issue. I'm not going to change anything for now because I have not looked through the sources and don't know which ones are most suitable to keep. This may also not be notable enough to remain after the scare is over. If this information stays in the article though, you gotta cut down that source list.
