Is this article really necessary?

This article doesn’t currently seem very complete or useful to readers. It was originally more or less a disambiguation page, which might be okay I guess. I don't really understand what purpose it serves as a separate article. Perhaps whatever content is here should be merged into series (mathematics), asymptotic expansion, Taylor series, etc., and the title redirected to a section of series (mathematics)? –jacobolus (t) 23:34, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
