Editor insertion of falsehood

edit

As I indicate here and in my prior edit summary, this editor has now twice edited the article to introduce a falsehood. The second time at least, apparently knowingly. That is not good. https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Sergeants_Benevolent_Association&diff=965427194&oldid=965347161

The supporting line from the source says "According to the Post, she was held after blocking traffic on Broadway and refusing to move after officials deemed protesters to be an "unlawful assembly.”” The New York Post is a lower quality source than newsweek, if we want to copy their language verbatim we also have to attribute it to the source (which isn't newsweek). Per WP:ASPERSIONS you need to provide a diff for the second claim introduction of a falsehood. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 16:24, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
I am fine with attributing it. We have to be clear as to what she was arrested for. What you inserted was not suppported by the ref. And this is a blp. --2604:2000:E010:1100:B984:6CB9:D3C5:2BE1 (talk) 20:24, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
That the problem, we cant use NY Post to make a statement about a living person (its not a WP:RS per [[1]] especially for gossip). You need to find a WP:RS which says that if you want to include it. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 20:30, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Also allow me to repeat myself, per WP:ASPERSIONS you need to provide a diff for the second claim introduction of a falsehood. Otherwise its a WP:PA. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 20:35, 1 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

FBI raid

edit

The FBI raided the SBA headquarters and it's leader today.[1][2][3][4] Should this be included in the History section? WhoAteMyButter (📨talk📝contribs) 20:43, 5 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
