Plural of Sgt Major
editI’ve just had an edit reverted claiming that South Africa does not follow the convention of using the plural “Sergeants Major”! I Dispute that but don’t want to start an edit war BoonDock (talk) 11:30, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
- You made the change, so the onus is on you to support, with references, to support your claims.
- What WP:RS did you cite that you are correct and the article is wrong?
- Did you read the sergeant major article which explains the difference?
- The South African Army itself routinely uses "sergeant majors" - e.g. [1], [2], [3]
