Plenty of spelling errors, needs to be condensed and edited for grammar. Cold December 21:28, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
What, did a thirteen year old write this? --220.245.89.70 (talk) 09:34, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
I reorganized this into the format of the Blair Waldorf page, and tried to rephrase some descriptions for clarity.
- No, this article should cover both the TV show and the books. If I had more time, I would do this. I would make a section called "In the TV series" or something. — *Hippi ippi 12:37, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for judging me; my comment above does not say anything at all about my preferences. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia which covers all aspects of things, so I stand by my comment above. You, however, sound biased. — *Hippi ippi 03:32, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- "The Type A Behavior Pattern, is a set of characteristics that includes being... incapable of relaxation" - oh dear. Chill, man. Oh, so you're from a stuck up Manhattan family, eh? What are you doing on wikipedia then?! ;) — *Hippi ippi 02:54, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

Serena van der Woodsen hooked up with Blair?
editI haven't read all the books, but if you call a pash in a bathtub while she was drunk a fling... puhlese. I've removed this once already, but please, correct me if I'm wrong. — *Hippi ippi 02:47, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
- Oh, and did Serena really hook up with Chuck? — *Hippi ippi 02:55, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
I haven't read the entire series either, but I'm pretty certain there's more than one instance of something romantic between Blair and Serena. I seem to recall that they made out in one of the later books (8 or so) at least. You may not class such instances as a "fling", but perhaps there should be some sort of reference to that aspect of their relationship. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.150.106.97 (talk) 22:41, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
We don't need such a lengthy book summary.
editI'm organizing this back into the same format as the other character's. We don't need such a long description on what happens in the books, or a detailed summary on her relationship with each character! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.210.60.183 (talk) 04:39, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

Eric Van Der Woodsen.
editOne difference between the book and the television show is that in the show, Eric is younger than Serena, rather than older. Eric also is forced out of the closet by Georgina Sparks in the show, where as his sexuality is not similarly branded in the books. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.21.90.106 (talk) 14:52, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

2nd AfD nomination discussion
editHi @SSTflyer:, the Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Serena van der Woodsen (2nd nomination) was keep, but it was not demonstrated how this character is independently notable from the show or the actress portraying the character. What was the winning argument? AadaamS (talk) 18:55, 18 April 2016 (UTC)
