Types of Separatism edit

Referring to the Separatist faction of the Church of England, not all of them became Pilgrims. None of them wanted to do with the Church, but some would have preferred overthrowing it, right? What about John Bunyan and all those guys? Benjamin.s.quigley (talk) 20:21, 29 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

This comment is correct and the arrangement of the pages here is simply wrong. Separatist and Saparatism are proper nouns for the reform movement in the Church of England in 17th century. Nor are they the same as Puritans. Pilgrims are only that small group of Puritans who left for America.

Therefore the pages on Separatist and Separatism should go first, if anywhere, to articles on these topics, and then to disambig pages to other (lower case s) separatist movements. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.133.127.244 (talk) 21:56, 27 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
