Section 8 (housing)Housing Choice Voucher Program – The article is more about the Housing Choice Voucher Program (the implementation of the legislation) rather than Section 8 itself (the legislation). Therefore a move would be appropriate, especially in the likely case that a article for the legislation will be created. Ttownfeen (talk) 23:46, 21 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose. The entire program is widely and almost exclusively known as "Section 8". Ask the average participant in the program about the "Housing Choice Voucher Program", and they'll likely say something like "What? Oh, you mean Section 8?" Powers T 14:47, 22 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. The common, recognizable name is Section 8. Quigley (talk) 05:02, 23 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

"landlords willingly accept Section 8 tenants" edit

This whole uncited section should either be cited or removed. But given that it's a broad, meaningless statement, it really has no place being on this page. It reads like it was put there purely to entice landlords to accept section 8 applicants. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.135.57.208 (talk) 23:48, 21 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Article is another Biased Example of ADL programming edit

The only reasons people don"t accept Section 8 is because 1) They don't want inspections. 2) They want to charge more rent.

This would be true, if you were a completely dishonest liar, whose only goal is that narrative. 2600:100F:B1A0:3580:A184:8A58:90BD:ACBB (talk) 16:48, 30 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
