Ferrucci / Vizzardelli

edit

I have removed one name from the list of secretaries which seems to have crept in by mistake: Michele Ferrucci (1801-1881) was offered the position of Latin secretary by Pope Leo XII, but declined the offer. (See his article in the Enciclopedia Treccani: http://www.treccani.it/enciclopedia/michele-ferrucci_%28Dizionario-Biografico%29/) The error persists in a number of other-language versions of this page - but not in the very extensive Polish one.

Carlo Vizzardelli (1791-1851, created cardinal in 1848) lacks an English-language page at the moment, but has a good Italian one (and shorter German and French versions). — Preceding unsigned comment added by S-van-Beek (talkcontribs) 10:38, 31 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Raffaele Mazio (created cardinal in 1830), too, might deserve his own page. There is an Italian stub, although his name is there wrongly spelt 'Mazzio'. Treccani once again: http://www.treccani.it/enciclopedia/raffaele-mazio_(Dizionario-Biografico) S-van-Beek (talk) 21:59, 1 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
