While this article has nice prose, it urgently needs some references so the reader can check the information, which seems especially important on this topic. While there are some books given as "References" it completely unspecific - for each main statement it should be clear from which Source it can be verified. The article describes the war as taking place from the 1970s to 1990s, but the dates given in the info box are 1981-1984. It also claims the ‘result’ includes a killing from 1981.
