I have started the Siege of Herat (1856) page. I noticed that there are many gaps in research concerning the pages relevant to the Anglo-Persian War and the preceding sieges of Herat. As I begin to compile the research and start developing this page, I decided it would be best for others to contribute to it accordingly. Feel free to share any insight you may have and feel free to add to the conversation on this page. I am relying on many of the same sources cited on the Anglo-Persian War page, with some other contemporary sources and few Persian-language sources, including Fātiḥ-i Harāt: Sulṭān Murād Mīrzā Ḥusām al-Salṭanah.
