American hub edit
Seattle is clearly labeled an American Hub by Bloomberg.com in this article: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-02-13/american-airlines-to-tap-seattle-as-gateway-for-flights-to-india
The headline is: American Air Steps Up Delta Rivalry With Seattle as Overseas Hub The subhead also notes: Expansion from Pacific Coast hub will include Heathrow service

Not sure why someone keeps reverting me but Bloomberg News is clearly more reliable than some random anonymous editor who keeps asserting the source is gone and is defaming me by accusing me of "vandalizing" by included clearly sourced information from Bloomberg News.

SeaTac and necessity for citations edit
@SounderBruce: About that citation: I notice the postal address for the airport is stated as "17801 International Blvd. | Seattle, WA 98168". This may confuse drive-by editors who do not realize that the city name of US postal addresses does not always match jurisdictional boundaries. This is why I made a citation for SeaTac. If the postal address was consistently "SeaTac, Washington" by multiple sources I would feel it would be a "WP:SKYISBLUE" kind of citation. WhisperToMe (talk) 21:46, 3 August 2022 (UTC)
Third runway citations edit
The "third runway" controversy was completely uncited when I got here. I'll add at least one citation, but that could really use more. It probably could also use fleshing out in general (more specific dates, grounds for the various lawsuits, link to the study that determined there was no viable alternative to the third runway, etc.) - Jmabel | Talk 19:51, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- I added two more sources to the existing text, but have not yet expanded the text. To forestall any concerns, one is sourced to HistoryLink.org, which is considered an RS for Seattle-adjacent topics and itself cites a Tacoma Tribune article from the time. Should Seattle be listed as Hainan destination (2023)? edit
Hainan was added to Seattle's destination list based on this source. But it indicates that the route is actually to Boston, with a stopover one-way on the return leg to Beijing. Should this be listed as a route, or is this just a service stop? --HappyEditor100 (talk) 21:22, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
- Replying to self for reference to others: Hainan allows non-stop booking from Seattle to Beijing, but Beijing to Seattle with a connection. Will leave Beijing as destination from Seattle, but remove Seattle as non-stop destination from Beijing. --HappyEditor100 (talk) 21:29, 19 November 2023 (UTC)
