When? edit
It says: "It falls roughly between early January and early May" but it must be between October 15 - February 15 (in Grergorian calender)Böri (talk) 15:26, 7 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ancient Egyptian calendar and Coptic calendar were different! (but the names of the months were the same!)
- Ancient Egyptian month "Tybi" = November 16 - December 15 (but this is Julian calendar) = October 15 - November 15 (Gregorian calendar)
- Coptic mounth Tobi = January 9 - February 7
- so they were different! but this makes confusion! Böri (talk) 12:59, 8 June 2011 (UTC)
- note: Peret / Season of the Emergence begins with "Tybi" (I wrote it for that reason) Böri (talk) 13:26, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

Main hieroglyph edit
per wiktionary. If it turns out one of the other variants was actually more common or is more accepted presently, that's peachy, but kindly include a source and fix the linked wiktionary entry for šmw. — LlywelynII 09:40, 6 February 2017 (UTC)
