"In 1968, the SAI became a co-educational association." This is wrong. In 1968 the Boy Scouts of Ireland conducted a review of the association similar to the Advance Party Report of the UK Scout Association. The name changed to the Scout Association of Ireland, there were uniform changes as well as a new badge programme.
