Proposed merge of Scorpion sting into Scorpionism (Implemented)

These articles are both underdeveloped (quite severely in the case of scorpion sting) and have very similar scopes. I think they should be merged, following the example of spider bite and Arachnidism, which both go to the same target. {{u|Sdkb}} ^talk 08:04, 31 May 2021 (UTC)

Support merge It seems like these articles would be better as 1 article. “Scorpion sting” is probably a better title due to WP:COMMONNAME. Blaylockjam10 (talk) 21:43, 31 May 2021 (UTC)

Question - Scorpionism seems to be focused on the human angle; would it be appropriate to have the stings of scorpions in general (hunting, predator defense, etc) covered in scorpion sting, or should that go in the primary scorpion article? Hog Farm _Talk 23:30, 31 May 2021 (UTC)

Support a merge in the other direction (Scorpionism into Scorpion sting); following the example of Spider bite, I think Scorpion sting would be the best title for the merged article. Both articles reference the envenomation of humans; Scorpion sting concerns being stung by a scorpion rather than the stinger itself. Re: "the stings of scorpions in general (hunting, predator defense, etc)", I think that would be best covered by a section in Scorpion as that article would provide necessary context on the anatomy, physiology, & behaviour of scorpions.
