I don't know much about Italian food, but isn't this just the Italian word for syrup? Is there a reason to make it a separate entry? Yel D'ohan (talk) 00:33, 7 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
I could be wrong about this, but from the description here, it sounds like it's a specific concoction of diluted syrups. I think Slush puppies are basically just flavored syrups in ice water, but they are certainly distinct from the concept of "syrup" in general. In any case, I've thrown this over to Wikiproject Italy just in case they have anything to say on the matter. 0x0077BE [talk/contrib] 00:52, 7 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
As an Italian I can confirm you that sciroppo is nothing more than the Italian word for syrup. – Cloverleaf II (talk) 14:37, 7 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
Maybe, but as an Italian I have only heard it used for the medecine. --Vadsf (talk) 20:03, 13 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
OK, I'm going to redirect this to Syrup. It may be that we want to even delete this page entirely, since it's just a literal translation, but I don't think it's a problem to have a redirect at least for now. 0x0077BE [talk/contrib] 15:03, 14 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
