Pretty much noone calls it "Schlachteplatte" in Germany (if so, it must be some idiom from northern Germany). It's usually "Schlachtplatte" with "Schlachtschüssel" and "Metzgete" being rather local idioms. "Metzgete" in the Alemannic regions of Southern Germany and Switzerland can also mean the process of slaughtering and/or the accompanying festival. 84.163.36.117 (talk) 14:18, 26 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Well why not request a move then? It'll need an admin to do it, though, as "Schlachtplatte" is not a simple redirect. --Bermicourt (talk) 20:20, 26 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

"mixed grill"?

edit

How is Schlachtplatte a mixed grill dish? I have never encountered any grilled (or even fried/roasted) items when eating this dish anywhere in southern Germany. 93.233.91.152 (talk) 19:42, 8 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

The cited source appears to agree, so I've removed the term. Bermicourt (talk) 20:02, 8 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
