Talk:Scale the Summit

Why I got rid of the template and condensed the album articles into one edit

The idea behind this new article is that yes, the band and their albums are significant enough to be included on Wikipedia, but having read their interviews extensively I do not believe that each album warrants its own article. Therefore, I decided to combine them all into one article.

Also, each of their album pages now redirects there.

I would have brought this up for discussion, but I felt I was more or less alone in working on this band's articles. I decided to go through with it anyway, and I decided at the very worst that I would get reverted. Hopefully whoever does has the decency to tell me why. LazyBastardGuy 21:25, 4 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

"Musical style"? edit

The "Musical style" section of this article barely describes their style at all. It's more like a description of the members' musical knowledge/credentials, with a short comment about djent towards the end, which is far from being descriptive of their progressive metal/progressive rock sound. Djent is a subgenre derived from progressive metal, but they are not synonymous and that term certainly doesn't describe this band. When I hear "djent", I think of Reflections, Animals As Leaders (kinda), Vildhjarta, Periphery, and Meshuggah; none of which resemble Scale the Summit. 72.242.143.140 (talk) 23:56, 21 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
