@ Jeremy 112233

I noted your comments on the Saverys family wiki page and would like to work on this.

1) I had earlier combined and expanded on it from a single sparse page (which looked more like an advertisement!) made on a single member of the family, but gradually realising how large the family was (and how many companies they control), I felt that the family needs to have a page.

However, now I feel that it would be better instead to split the page into individual pages for each family member. What do you feel?

2) you have mentioned a lack of citations. but I have used 23 references inclduign news paper articles and interviews. I wonder where you feel this can be improved

3) neutrality being disputed - not sure which section you indicated this for - could you please advise? I will accordingly help change the words / contents

I'm happy to clarify. Every fact on the page needs a citation, and many of the items you've included don't have citations. So while you have a good number of references here, there are many things not referenced. Second, for structure, look at something like the Kennedy family page. It uses formatting to keep the page from looking like a long series of unrelated items, and respects that if a person isn't notable enough for their own page, a full biography on them probably isn't merited. Not that more material than is found on that page is bad; it's just the formatting and structure. Lastly, the neutrality issue could be seen more as a notability issue, so I'll remove that tag as peacock wording isn't too big of an issue here. Hi Jeremy112233 , I went through the Kennedy family page. If I change the format of this Saverys family page to the Kennedy family style, will it not mean having to add more pages for each member? Or would you suggest that I add a bloodline section, followed by the existing passages about each member of the family?

Inaccuracies in text on Felix Saverys edit

Please double-check the dates in the Felix Saverys section. The text specifies on two occasions that he was born in 1866; surely once is enough for such a short snippet. It also states that he died in 1909. This would mean that he married Marie-Louise Auwers, born in 1904 (referenced), when she was no more than five years old. If Felix is indeed the first generation of the Saverys family, he somehow fathered the second generation with his five-year-old wife who must have had a 23-year pregnancy to give birth to Philippe Saverys in 1932. This pregnancy would have been concurrent with the pregnancies for his six siblings. 193.191.120.132 (talk) 15:07, 5 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
