Ph.D. or Pharm.D.? (Japanese degree) edit
He received Ph.D in pharmacy[1] from University of Tokyo. There was no U.S.-style Pharm.D. program then in Japan (and Korea.) He was not a professional pharmacist. He is a biochemist. The confusion comes from the title of his doctorate degree, "薬学博士", literally meaning "Doctor of Pharmacy". In Japan (and Korea) doctorate degrees(Ph.D.s) are classified into several subcategories of Ph.D.s according to each degree-granting schools or departments. For example if someone receives a Ph.D. from the school of agriculture, the granted Japanese degree title is "農学博士", whose literal meaning is "Doctor of Agriculture". The "Doctor of Philosophy" is granted only to the philosophy candidates who study the subjects such as e.g. Kant or Hegel. Thus Japanese medical degree "医学博士"(Doctor of Medicine) is not the Japanese counterpart of Anglo-American MD. It is a "scientific" Ph.D degree. That is why almost all of Japanese (and Korean) medical professors have MD/Ph.D. dual degrees. They get MD degree at the time of end of undergraduate medical education. (Ph.D. degree is a bureaucratic requirement for a professorship)

no covid-19 smear? edit
He had videos deleted from Youtube talking about Ivermectin and Covid in the same sentence.
