If any practicing Satanists (traditional or LaVeyan) can add additional major Satanic holidays, please do. I have added all that are listed elsewhere online. I believe this list to be fairly comprehensive, but I may have missed a few. Thanks! 207.45.43.68 (talk) 18:02, 19 December 2007 (UTC)

"satanic holidays" edit
According to the Ontario Consultants for Religious Tolerance [from which the list was taken], in some cases the authors appear to create information out of thin air, or copy the works of other conservative Christian writers. Few, if any, appear to have any direct knowledge of Satanism and all show a general lack of familiarization with the religion.[1]
LaVeyan or not? edit
Is this article supposed to be about the holidays found in LaVeyan Satanism or other forms of satanism? This should be clarified as only then can real information about the holidays be added. As it is now there is no actual information about the holidays - only what christians speculate or think of them. L. Weaxzezz (talk) 19:21, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
I just noticed that the article on LaVeyan Satanism linked to this article as the main article on satanic holidays, therefore I assume that this article is indeed about holidays in LaVeyan Satanism and will proceed to edit and expand it when I have the time. As far as I know, there are no Satanic holidays in Modern Satanism or LaVeyan Satanism. I've read all of Anton S. LaVey's books including the Satanic Bible and there has never been any mention to days of observance or holidays. He had a song called, "Satan Takes A Holiday." The lyrics are quirky and have already just gotten stuck in my head... "And, baby that's why Satan takes a holiday!" Spinygabor (talk) 06:50, 21 April 2016 (UTC)
