How did her name become "Sarah Alexander"? A marriage? Grover cleveland 06:24, 14 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't know but it may just have been a professional decision. The UK actors' union, Equity, won't allow two members of the same name. If there was already a Sarah Smith, she could have decided to become Sarah Somethingelse. Why Alexander - your original question - I don't know. If there's no other reason, it may be it just sounded fancier than p-lain Sarah Smith. Les woodland (talk) 05:50, 17 December 2007 (UTC)les woodlandReply

She changed her name because there was already a Sarah Smith on the RADA list of names. So she changed her surname to that of the name of her brother ALEXANDER! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.139.232.71 (talk) 21:23, 6 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Name change #2 edit

There reads: Sarah Alexander (née Smith; born 3 January 1971), which implies her surname is currently "Alexander", and according to the article, this is not the case. 88.114.246.209 (talk) 19:31, 25 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
