According to Arizona Highways magazine dated July 2001,article written by Sam Negri, this town is the resting place of outlaw Augustine Chacon. Chacon bragged he was the killer of 42 men. He was captured by the Arizona Rangers and was hanged in Solomonville AZ November 21 1902.
