Support or Oppose? edit

  • Support no primary. In ictu oculi (talk) 13:30, 16 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose and speedy close - no evidence presented supporting the claim made in nom. Any such proposal should be speedy closed. I think it's just rude to make a proposal without giving participants an evidence-based argument to consider. "I think that..." doesn't cut it. Not even close. --В²C 00:17, 20 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nom. No clear primary topic here. -- Necrothesp (talk) 15:03, 20 January 2016 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose, per В²C, San Clemente, California is the primary topic; it is not located there per WP:USPLACE. © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 20:43, 23 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Page view stats edit

It's a shame that the nom and the supporters don't even bother to look at the evidence, much less collect it and publish it for others to consider. Here's a start. It's pretty overwhelming. Maybe I'm missing something, but if I am, someone supporting this proposal needs to find it.

Lead edit

@Bkonrad: Thanks for trying to keep things neat but don't overdo it. The page should lead with what this name means (Spanish/Italian for St Clement) and it has to give the context for the PRIMARYTOPIC. You can't cut it down to US city since there are other places in the US by the same name. The additional links are optional but standard and useful for WP:READERs. — LlywelynII 22:24, 10 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

It's pretty obvious the name is St. Clement. I don't think that needs an additional link in the lead. I'm not sure why the fact that there are other places in the US with that name has any relevance on the lead. olderwiser 00:23, 11 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
