Talk:San Carlos Water

This is all a bit suspect. According to the Admiralty Chart, San Carlos has two arms. The North/South one is San Carlos Water and the East/West one is Port San Carlos. Admiralty Charts edit

Certain details have been added, referenced to admiralty charts. These are offline sources - and while these are of course allowed, I think we need to clarify how the figures have been created. Specifically, are they text, or read from the map? If the former, can we have a quote please? Pfainuk talk 17:22, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The tidal ranges are text (LW = 0.3m; HW = 1.9m for spring tides and LW = 0.7m and HW = 1.3m for high tides). Specimen tide tables are on the chart. Other values were read off the chart. Martinvl (talk) 17:34, 1 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
