I have removed the following:

The Samuel D. Warren concerned was another individual, who graduated Harvard Law School in 1877 (Brandeis was first in the class, Warren second). Warren and Brandeis were partners in a firm of attorneys from 1879 to 1889 and their famous article appeared in 1890 - over a decade after the English Samuel Warren's death. Eliza Ballenger Vanhouse

Eliza's first husband was William Vanhouse jun.[1] Plausibly this is the William Vanhouse of the grocery partnership Robert Holden, William Vanhouse and William Alers Hankey [2] - or maybe his son.
